RESIGNATION

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8 year-old again. I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a four star restaurant.
I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks. I want to think M&Ms are better than money because you can eat them. I want to lie under a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day. I want to return to a time when life was simple, when all you knew
were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery rhymes,but that didn't bother you because you didn't know what you didn't know and you didn't care. All you knew was to be happy because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should make you worried or upset. I want to think the world is fair. That everyone is honest and good. I want to believe that anything is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life and be overly excited by the little things again. I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank, doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones. I want to believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth, justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making angels in the snow. So . . . here's my checkbook and my car keys, my credit card bills and my 401K statements. I am officially resigning from adulthood. [b]woohooo! its finally over! my comp can rest from working so hard. poor baby needs some sleep so im shutting her down tonight. i need sleep too. i woke up at ten til 8 and got ready to go in less than half an hour. then i packed up my comp and jumped in my grandmas car and went to scenic hills and set up everything and started the power point and then went and did registration. then i had to start emptying camera memory sticks so i did it on kelly or shanes comp so itd be faster. then i had to go outside because i couldn't function from being so cold. then a lil while later we moved everything into the banquet hall place and i had to do more on the ppt. and i started getting bored so i went with marcia ((mar-sha)) to bring the zigoliolis ((dont think i spelled that right? pronounced zig-oh-lee-oh-lees)) some more drinks and we ate some fried mullet. i have to say that i like catfish better. it was pretty good though. then we went back and i worked on the ppt some more and then we started getting everything ready for the banquet thing. we had [u]SO[/u] many wires. 3 laptops, a scorecard scanner((big)), a printer, & a projector. might not sound like much but it really really is. so we started up my ppt and all the sudden things started going wrong. the hot air from the projector was blowing strait on my comp. and it was already hot from trying to do a super spiffed up ppt with about 210 slides. so my baby overheated and i had to shut her down and take her for a walk. then while i had been waiting for my comp to shut down i was loading somemore pictures into the leaderboard system and all the sudden half the leaderboard files were gone and all the pictures that had been taken that day were gone. that was over 200 pictures that just disappeared along with a few of kelly's other folders. so i was extremely frusturated to say the least. then i had to call squish and tell her that i wasnt going to make it to her game which pretty much just made me lose any sanity that was left in me. so i took my comp for a walk and found a bar and it had an ice thing so i folded up a really big tablecloth and put it on top of the ice then put my comp on top of that so it'd cool off maybe. then i took the ketchup i used for lunch back to the bartender guy....or....shoot, i dont think i did....i think i carried it around for a while but i dont remember if i gave it back or not. :? :? :? :? :? oh well, anywho...i waited for my comp to cool down and then took it back and plugged it back in and just let it sit for a while and then while i had been waiting my grandma had done the system recovery thing and gotten back the pictures but none of them could figure out how to move them ....rolls eyes.... so i went and did it and so we had the pictures for that slide show back and then i turned on my comp and my grandma killed it but going to fast opening ppt and trying to do the slide show the second it opened ((not a good thing to do)) and so i had to shut it down again. then i sent her to help shane to the scoring on his comp. and started up ppt and got the slideshow going and hooked my comp to the projector and we watched it on the big screen. :D it was really awesome. my grandma and some other ladies and kelly and shane and Grandma said it looked good on the big screen. :D :D :D :D :D i think it was worth more than $25. overstressful plus i had to do extra which wasnt in my job discription. sigh.... so it all worked and i had dinner and then i won the raffle 3 times and got a new phone, **COMP MOUSE**, & a ultimate surge protector! awesome. so then i hung out with steven & then uncle scott, sonni, & kyle took me home. i kicked my sisters into bed & then came here. now im going to go to bed myself cause i am TIRED!

[b]:shock: i lost it today. my dad ripped the bottom of my jeans ((a pair of my favorites)) and then i was given 6 more disks to incorperate into the ppt i did last night. it was the last day of FCAT with the dumbest section ((NRT)). sarah is still upset with me not being able to go to her party. zach didnt win his challenge with rockett. everyone is mad. i had to run the mile but didnt and got a 70 for a test grade so now i have a B in that class. today is my day to vent. most recently, i can't find the ppt that i did last night. so i have to do it all over again i guess. sigh wow, that was a horrible blog. better leave before i make it any worse. :?
